How to Measure

  1. Neckline: Hold your head in a neutral position while the tape should be resting lightly on the skin, not squeezing it. Wrap the measuring tape fully around your neck.
  2. Sleeves: Measure from the tip of the shoulder down to the bottom of the sleeve.
  3. Shoulder: Place the measuring tape at the corner of one shoulder and pull across to the other shoulder. This is an important measurement, as some people typically wear the same size but have different shoulder widths.
  4. Upper arm width: Place the measuring tape in the middle of the upper arm and measure from one side of the sleeve to the other.
  5. Bicep: Hold the end of a soft measuring tape over the highest point of your biceps and around it so both ends meet to give you your measurement.
  6. Forearm width: Place the measuring tape in the middle of the forearm and measure from one side of the sleeve across to the other.
  7. Cuff: Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist, just above the wrist bone.
  8. Chest width: Measure from the bottom of one armhole across the chest to the bottom of the opposite armhole.
  9. Waist width: Place the measuring tape where the natural waist would fall, usually a bit lower than halfway down the blazer, and measure from one side of the jacket across to the other.
  10. Cloth length: Place the measuring tape in the middle of the collar and pull it down vertically to the bottom of the jacket.
  11. Hip width: Measure from one of the bottom corners of the jacket across to the other.
  12. Pants length: Measure from your waistline down to where you want the pants to end. Stand straight, and run the tape measure along the side of your leg, from waist to ankle or floor, depending on the pant style you desire.
  13. Thigh: Start the tape at the front of your thigh and wrap it around towards the back before bringing it back to the front. Mark the number at the point where the tape measure meets itself.
